Bean Burgers
Bean burgers that you can throw in the grill
Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans
- 1 can garbanzo
- 1 can white beans
- 1 flax egg
- 1/4 cup crushed cashews
- Maybe some breadcrumbs
Spices (adjust acording to taste)
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Keep garbanzo bean juices, drain the rest of the beans.
- Puree the beans in food processor. I do 1 can black, 1 can white till they are almost a paste with no large bean pieces, move that to bowl, then process black and garbanzo. I do not process this batch as much, and leave some large bean chunks
- Add flax egg mixture and seasoning and mix well.
- Taste and feel for consistency
- If too mushy, add breadcrumbs/cashew pieces/veggie pieces
