Bean Burgers

Bean burgers that you can throw in the grill

Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans
  • 1 can garbanzo
  • 1 can white beans
  • 1 flax egg
  • 1/4 cup crushed cashews
  • Maybe some breadcrumbs

Spices (adjust acording to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Keep garbanzo bean juices, drain the rest of the beans.
  2. Puree the beans in food processor. I do 1 can black, 1 can white till they are almost a paste with no large bean pieces, move that to bowl, then process black and garbanzo. I do not process this batch as much, and leave some large bean chunks
  3. Add flax egg mixture and seasoning and mix well.
  4. Taste and feel for consistency
  5. If too mushy, add breadcrumbs/cashew pieces/veggie pieces
